Who we are
Whitepark Consulting Limited is the data controller for the information described on this page. Our registered details are set out at the foot of every page. For anything to do with your personal information, email bryan@whiteparkconsulting.com.
What we collect, and why
When you book a call. Bookings are taken through Cal.com. You give your name, email address and anything you choose to add in the notes. We use it to hold the appointment, prepare for the conversation and follow up afterwards. Cal.com processes that information on our behalf under its own privacy policy.
When you email us. We keep your message and our reply for as long as the conversation, or any engagement that follows it, is live. Our email runs on Microsoft 365.
When you visit the site. Our hosting provider records standard server logs, including your IP address, the pages requested and the browser used, for security and to keep the site running. These are held for a short period and are not used to identify you.
Our lawful basis for all of the above is our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries and running the practice, and, once an engagement begins, the performance of our contract with you.
Cookies
The public website does not use analytics or advertising cookies. Authorised editors use a necessary session cookie when signing in to manage the website. The Cal.com booking calendar may set cookies of its own when it loads, which are governed by Cal.com's policy.
Who we share it with
Nobody, beyond the providers that run the site and the tools named above. We do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not use it for marketing you have not asked for.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to an engagement are deleted within twelve months. Where an engagement follows, we keep the records we are required to keep for as long as the law and our professional obligations require, then delete them.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to how we are using it. Email us and we will respond within one month. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Changes
If how we handle information changes, this page will change with it and the date at the top will be updated.
